Vapor pressure deficit. The difference in water vapor pressure in the air and inside the leaf. Vpd effects the rate of transpiration of a plant as well as co2 uptake To Well my vpd was high real high so it made my plants transpire to much with inturn made them drink to much nute water with in turn made them uptake to many nutes and lock out. So why was my vpd off. Because the mini split unit a.c does such a great job it was removing all the needed humidity. The solution to the problem was to head to Lowes and buy a evaporate cooler / humidifier so when the lights are own I can add the humidity needed. With the cooler in place plants flushed again and lightly fed they look like they are recovering but won't know for a few days. Here are some pics, day 42 of the girls with 30 more to go hopefully we didn't stunt them and they continue to swell20210713_130037.jpg20210713_134014.jpg20210713_134022.jpg20210713_130901.jpg20210713_130848.jpg20210713_130901.jpg

Ok. sounds like you taking shots at me and being a wise guy but ok. I'd you have any beneficial comments to make please feel free. I'm open to suggestions to iprove the current setup I have. If your goal is to bash my lights and what I choose to use to grow please save your comments.i have a co2 meter you know and my ppms are with in a suitable range considering I have like 5 of them. They cost me 15 bucks new. So considering I didn't have time to source a bottle system in my current town I live in it made more since to go this route. Is it optimal no will it get the job done for 75 bucks a grow I hope so if not I'll upgrade. Seems pretty simple to me.anything else you see that I could change up. Besides lights?

actually after reading your post a little closer, u may want to reconsider the title. your show is by no means an advanced grow room setup in 2021.

So a fully automated setup is considering advanced. Regardless of the equipment used. Also a grow space that administrators more the 700 ppfds to the canopy Is considered commerical commerical. These terms have nothing to do with the name brand equipment one uses. Nor do the results of send grow space indicate if its advance.. what does matter is the technical skill needed to run it.. hell setting up a grow room to optimize vpd is advanced in its own right. Schwazze is and advanced defolition technique. Fully automated nutrition regimes again another aspect of advance grow systems. Twnt grows are considered basic in Most cases. is basic bad by no mean people produce just as good what bud and better but when you want to be gone from home two weeks and want to control every aspect of your garden from your phone then y ou are getting into the field of and advanced setup. With is what my grow room Was designed for. But it was just a title man this is my first grow with everything in the room from genetics to lights to Automation to Scroggins etc. As ibgrow with it hopefully it get better if not I'll see bk78 you and the others told me so. But I think it's only fair tall let me as a grower come to the same conclusion as many do about products in my grow without fear of ridicule from. Fellow growers because they don't like my equipment. We supposed to in this together. Helping each other not tearing each other down. That what non weed smokers are for. Once again all positive feed back to better my what I'm doing is always welcome. Same goes for you too bk78 cuz I know you reading this. I'm open to positive advice all day thanks again for reading my journal now let smoke a bowl and get high

I think they a bit small because in week 4 of flower I had my peripods set up for wrong and dosed them with to much nitrogen and literally no phosphorous or potassium also didn't have vpd Dailed in so it ran to much nutes through the plants causing an N build up. Got back home a week later off the rd and most all my leaves were yellowing and had necrosis. Took a a few more days to figure out how to flush them while in the Scroggins net and in auto pots. Finally got a separate reservoir and flushed them with ff sledge hammer and ff comeback and ph watered and they started responding again last week. At least thats my guess. I'll find out on the next run

The haters on this site are rather loud....just drown them out. The vast majority are extremely helpful. The ones that aren't, seem to have a superiority complex. I just completed my first grow with a phytomax 800 in a 4x4. I havent grown in over 10 years; they boast an average of 2 lbs with said light. I hit JUST under 1lb with 3 plants and that was entirely due to newbie mistakes. With that said, I did hit half of a pound with one of my plants. I've read a lot of hate on this site in regards to BlackDog (mainly due to the price), but I'm just convinced that it's because they can't afford it. There's a reason a growing number of commercial growers are turning to them. Keep up the good work!

Happy growing!

Actually I'm not. Being in a prohibition state, I'm relegated to mostly living vicariously through the grows I see on social media. I follow at least 3 commercial grows on that have either BEEN using BD or are just switching over. With BD being significantly more expensive than their competitors, a little critical thinking, would lead one to believe that these commercial grows are doing their due diligence, in regards to quality. They aren't going to switch over to something 2 to 3 times more expensive if the ROI isn't there...frankly that's just basic economics. It's easy for a home grower to get drawn in, but after reading reviews from companies that have spent more than 20k just on lighting, their word is going to hold A LOT more weight than yours.

Happy growing though!

Late with the reply, but it doesn't invalidate it any less; psyborg farms...there's one. Platter farms is another....both in Oklahoma, which is putting out some of the best flower right now. Both of which have AT LEAST 10 of BDs 1000s running....which is QUITE the investment. I bought an 800 and did an extensive amount of research....now imagine the research that went into investing 20k+ into lighting alone....again, critical thinking will take you a long way in life lol
