Air Flow how offer and how long?

I am about to start my 1st grow. My 1st step was the Tent and air flow and elimate the smell. My supplies...

3x3 room (tent) ~200
Carbon filter 4" ~65 (dont forget the Flang thing)
Can Fan 4" ~200 (a inline fan to suck the air though the fliter.)
6" Dry Vent duct (In take) ~8
4" Dry Vent duct (out take) ~8
(4) 32" Bungee cord ~10
(2) power strips
(1) Tower Fan ~20

My consurn is how long to run and how offer to run the can fan. The CFM on the can fan is 177 so the tent should be cleared in 20secs.
Things i can think of.
1. Run it 24/7
2. use a 7on/off timer every few hour run it for 15 - 20 minutes.
3. Drop 100 on a periodic time that would allow me to turn on for 1 minute off for 4 minutes.
4. Any other Ideas?

I would say 24/7 for at least the 12 on period to keep CO2 fresh and negative pressure up. At least hourly during 12 off to keep humidity down.

Obviously, we're not ventalating just to ventatlte but rather to control temp, humidy, and fresh C02. That being said, play with what works for you. Too many variables such as ambient, CO2 levels, air leakage in tent, heat load (amount of heat generated by cab) to make a definitive recommendtation.

Turn the bitch on, screw with her, flip her over and screw her that way, push her head into the bed, pick her up and throw her around a little, and just see what best meets you needs. You get the idea...

You don't run ventalation, especially exhaust during co2. Maybe a aircooled hood as long as it is totally sealed!

I don't think he is adding CO2 based on his statement.

If you are referring to my statement, i was saying to have the exhaust on during 12 on to keep fresh ambient air in the room hence fresh CO2 levels.

do u really need the tent air recycled every 20 seconds???? if you have alreadt bought the fan then use it, if not use less cfm's, the advantage of tents

I made a Fan Speed Controler to cut the can fan speed in half noise levels WAY down and the tent still hold a negative pressure. So 24/7 matbe off at night will use the temp and hum to deside a cycle. thanks everyone for your replys.

FullMetalJacket, i love the setup are you building.

You could always buy a thermostat unit to turn the fan on only when temps are above a certain level. It's expensive, though. ~$100
