airstone problem?

Im a newb to dwc and im one week into flower now and my root ball is so big i can even find my air stone its all wrapped in my roots...is this ok or do i need to get it out? I still can see bubbles but not as much as i use to see when roots weren't around it. Any help would be great guys thanks!

i would pull it out and place it on top of your root ball, increasing the DO (disolved oxygen) in water you just need the surface to be moving, IE bubbles popping. getting the air to the actualy roots inst what your going for, you just wanna add air to the water overall and that is done at the surface. to much roots around it and you get less surface disturbance

Disconnect the Air Stone from the air line. Pull the line through the roots. Reattach the line and drop that stone to the bottom.

You want the Air Stone on the bottom. Not the top.
