Am I screwed

My buds were really crispy being kept in a jar, so I was told to put some lettuce in the jar and it will moisture up, well now all my buds are soggy and look like shit,??will my buds bounce back?

looks like to much moisture but i would never put food material in the jars to bring it back to moisture a fresh stem works fine


the look could be permanet but the soggy isnt just leave em out the jar for awhile and then re jar em gotta get that moisture out

the cure might be fucked, once that happens the flavor can be lost, but its still smokeable, and you can always make bho.

Yup, you're still good. Just don't let it get moldy. Put it out to dry somewhere at a decent humidity and hope for the best. Make honey oil if all else fails.

No just dry it back out you will be fine unless you let the buds stay wet for to long. I used a peice of celery one time but only for a few hours, and it worked great! just dry them back out dont do anything drastic!

If your trying to re-moisten to keep curing, forget it. Once the buds get to dry the cure is over. Rehydrating won't help.

hey GHOPPZ, who told ya to put the lettuce in your cure jar ? it will be best for you to get the hydrometer to monitor the RH, I bought mine at the petco for 7 dollars, it may be inaccurate but it give you idea whats your RH levels. the best hydrometer is caliber i will post here the link that someone posted the good information about RH, heres a link http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=156237 check this out...

im not sure if your really screw up...if you dont mind to post the pic of soggy buds in here so we can get good look at your bud...im more corcerning about the mold/rots...and flavor as well...hopefully your buds will be fine by now...

I PERSONALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF USING ORANGE PEELS NOT AS MOIST SO THE PROCESS GOES SLOWER BUT THEN U CAN GET IT WHERE U WANT IT

Flour tortias work well, they make your buds moist but not WET and I didn't notice a change of taste like , orange peels,lettuce ....etc
