Ants invading my plant

what can I do to get rid of them

Coat the stem with tangle foot, and make sure none of the branches touch the ground or anything else.

Mix boric acid 1/ 1 with sweet jam mold into little balls about half the size of a .177 BB and leave around plant (make sure pets cant get to it)

instant cream of wheat creal , leave out a soda cap full of the dry grain

Check and see if they are farming aphids, Black ants will do this. And usually its the aphids that are the bigger problem. Tiny bugs that suck the juices out of your leaves.

i have had red ants on mine b4 so i decided to do a test and i left them there and it seemed like to me they killed ever other bug that i didnt need on my plant and never hurt my plant..it was like i had someone watching my plants for me..i remember seeing cataplillars and all getting eat up by the red ants that was denning next to my cannibus
