Another question for you guys. Would this be called a 300w panel, as it has 3w rated x 25 on each chip (or whatever) x 4? Thanks in advance.

Here's a look at what was inside. The reflectors are plastic, with plastic 'glass'.

There are one of these for each of the 4 'lights' whatever each one is called. Cluster?
70V max at 550 mA = 38.5W per LED, which means 4 will give you a total of 154W. So yea, quite far from 300W.

Appreciate the response. So when describing this thing I'd call it a 154w Panel? I'm seriously new to these things. Would it make sense to say 154w SMD Panel?

I feel like a dumbass with these questions, but I'd rather not continually sound like a dumbass when answering people when they ask what kind of panel it is. It's a shame I can't get an answer from the guy who I got them from.

Yessir. That's the light. I mentioned somewhere it was from growevolution. They didn't have that up on their website a few days ago, at least not that I could find.

How did you hear about it?

The link to their grow proof does not work

A decent light. I would prefer rectangular reflectors, which more evenly distribute the light

As you have 2 stagger them so that the reflectors on one are in-between the reflectors on the other

For $650, IMO here are better choices, but you should do well

Lookin good! i got 2 bud boss 400s on the way. I think they run at 305w a piece so 2 will equal the 600w im replacing.

Im pretty sure the extra few watts are for the fans and shit so itll be a really good comparison to the standard 600w hps.

I really like this cob/mcob/multichip stuff goin on with leds. Makes building an led panel yourself so much easier. Instead of connecting 100 1 watt leds you can run 2 50w or 4 25w. i wanted to make one with 4 50w ones and dim them all to about 30w or so to control heat.

And recently they said within a few years theyll have a phosphor coating on leds that will make them in the 90%+ efficiency, compared to cfls at barely 20%
