Any way to recycle ALL runoff/waste water?

Just curious, is there any way to recycle all the runoff water ?

Scenario : A large hydroponic grow room in a desert/dry , remote location where bringing fresh water is just about impossible.

A R.O. machine would work, but they are not efficient , they waste a few gallons to only get a gallon of clean water ?

Any ideas ?

a very interesting idea, i think this is very appropriate for the times, good water is getting more expensive all the time, and in shorter supply, at least in some areas
there are some very 'low micron' filters, they can filter out pathogens for human consumption
i would think they would get out all the visible waste, water should be clear after
but it would likely have dissolved minerals/nitrates and other undesirables
after that i'm not so sure, i thought RO filters were more efficient than that

they do make zero waste RO systems now.
when I lived off the grid and had to haul water, I hated to see water go down the drain just to get clean drinking water.
