anybody ever end up with buds like these/]?

my black domina has been doing that to me lately. tiny little buds on top and normal sized ones as you go down the branch.

not getting that with any of my other strains though, and no seeds in my case.
 
Where on the plant were those branches? I dont see any large colas on the end of the branch so am assuming they are from low down?
 
Some people posted shots of similar buds in a thread about fox-tailing.

The point was that some species just grow that way.

Some posted photos of mad looking dread-lock buds, but others looked
more like yours.

...or was it the seed thing? :0)

LOL..."grimspoon" does sounds like a variety of heroin or some such.

Some posters insisted that chopping these off stimulates the buds to swell properly,
where others argued that this form is appropriate for some strains.
