Anyone else's Fogger shoot up water?

So i bought a fogger, the single disc one that is like 30 bucks. It makes fog...

But it shoots up big globs of water.

In other words, i dont see how i could have any clones above it, it would keep them saturated.

I tried messing with different water levels, nothing helps.

I COULD put a beam on the lid, that holds a disc just above the fogger, so that it deflects its fountain like behavior.

Let me know if i got a faulty unit, i might send it back...

people with foggers... do yours shoot up water?

I was sent one from a friend and it shot water so I bought a new one. From what I have read when it shoots water the ceramic disc is shot or in upside down. Do you have the tool to take it apart?

yes i do have the tool, and an extra disc... i was going to send it back, but before i do, ill just try this, and if it works... who cares, im just out a disc, but life goes on.
