Anyone use Superthirive

I just started using superthrive this grow, it was highly recomended by a friend who swears by it. I also switched from miricle grow to AN nutes, with superthrive, so I dont really know if the superthrive is a big dif, cause I know the AN nutes are making a dif. just wondering about others experience with this stuff, how much you dose, how often and such.

I was going off the bottle recomendation of .75 tsp per gallon of water with my nutes and the superthrive administered only once a week. I have now, since turning back the lights, started giving them 3 to 4 drops per gallon, as I started seeing some slight burn at the tips of some of the leaves with slight curling. otherwise very happy healthy plants.

superthrive has been around for QUITE awhile...and yes...it is pretty good at resisting stress and root development...i use it for transplanting..and for the stress.....A.N plus superthrive and you should have no worries...just don't use the superthrive TOO much....as you noticed..it burns...now if you want something that won't burn....Elanor's VF-11..look for it...find it...use it...you'll be glad you did...LOW PH on the vf11 though...so make sure you do a final ph check...

I use it as recomended for dose levels per gallon for stress...something like 1/4 tsp....and then just do my daily feeding...which isn't very much per plant...you just want to lightly introduce it...not beef it up like on roids...lol... A.N are about your best bet though...they are pharmasuidical *spelling* grade nutes....little goes A FUCKING LONG WAY...for what you want in the end...just read..make mental notes of your NPK and what they are requireing...your girls that is....different strains take differnt food....you and me like food, but what you like could kill me..and what i like could make you sick or blossom....so yeah...since you halfed your lights....i'd just use it for about the first week of transplant or high stress...cutting back your light...i'd mix half for a few days and see and then maybe go back up till the end of the week and see if they are still burning....DO NOT USE AS FLORAL FEEDING....you'd be surprised at how many have done it and thought....wtf??? lol..well hope this helps...i'm using nirvana, vf11, superthrive fox farms ocean forrest and seeing pretty nice results for considering i got them 8 days ago under 20/4 hrs

yeah, I was actually using foxfarm bloom big for veg, with the AN I am using iguana juice bloom, started half dose for first feed, tonight they get half dose for second feed and next a straight water. next week Ill start the AN Big Bud with the iguana juice. Im not sure if Im even gonna use the Superthrive anymore on this batch, unless obvious stress occurs. The burn is already mostly gone to. This is my third grow, my first was nothing but straight water all the way through. Second batch was miricle grow all purpose plant food, and now some better performing nutes. I can say that overall the health and growth of this batch is amazing in comparison to the last. baby steps. I cant wait to send my babies to college(or the pipe).

wow your plants are looking really great!! but i've used superthrive and the biggest difference i've seen is keeping plants from getting shocked when transplanted

Just got home, this was an hour ago, pretty much no sign of burn but still a few leaves with a bit of a tip curl. most of thats dissapeared now too though. They really seem to like the Iguana juice bloom.
wow...i do agree...they are looking quite healthy and lovely...i wanted to try the iguana juice...and now i see that it should be work it...how long have you been vegging so far??? let us in on your set up....you got a nice grow so far..and yeah...just mainly use it for stress and transplanting...if you like the A.N try out Pirhana...sorry for the spelling....it's yet another root helper...hehe...expensive but like i said earlier....A.N is pharmisuedical grade....keep us updated...espescially when they go to college...hehehe

In conventional agriculture its generally agreed its useless. Supossedly plants can do nothing with B Vitamins. I believe that to be true. A lot of research has been done on it.

I am gonna say pass on it. Too many added nuts. for a bigger plant. Like in golf if I could hit it longer with every new driver claim of longer distances it would be about a 500 yard drive now. Really a good soil like ffoforest and some bloom nuts. are best with a little molasses. All the other stuff makes for higher nut. burn %. Look at the Vegggie farmers. Lot of money spent on extra nuts not needed. Better spend on more genetics with higher yields. imo

I like the variation in opinions. I actually dont think ill use it for anything other than transplanting and stress from here on out. I dont know that it is really making an impact overall. heres some pics from last night, not the best quality, didnt have my normal camera and had to use the cell phone but oh well. I had a misfortunate infestation of spider mites. luckily caught it before it got bad. you may notice on some leaves specks of yellow. thats from those little bastards sucking the life from my darlings. not to worry, i zapped those little pests and color will return in days. I love a resiliant plant.

I didn't notice any difference vegging from clone with Superthrive (ak47, bubba blueberry, ogre, killer queen and c99)... The only difference I saw was in my wallet. o.0
