Anyone used a vacum seal machine?

Hmm Interesting OneCanSam. Do that put the buds in a vacum? or just seal in the air that is inside?
It creates a very strong vacuum, put it to you this way, lets say you have it full of shake and small bud nuggets, if you don't release the vacuum and don't open it properly, the buds and shake will fly all over the room. I saw a Youtube video of some guy opening it improperly and the contents flew everywhere. I tried finding that Youtube video, but couldn't find it for you.:?

These tightpac (tightvac) containers are hands down the best herb storage solution ever created. If they were priced cheaper, they would give cheap mason jars a run for the money and everyone would be using these, they are fairly new and hard to find in brick and mortar stores. But the Tightpac containers are easier to use and better than anything I've ever used.

I believe that the link I posted previously has them even cheaper now, as they give you 15% off at checkout. Some spring sale or whatnot

Thanks for the heads up OneCanSam. But for now, I will stick with my vacum machine with the containers. Basically these are both the same thing. But i thin those have a hand pump for the vacum, where as mine is motor driven.

Nothing wrong with that, I'd be doing the same as you if I didn't have these tightvacs. Not like I have a shortage of vacuum sealers. Have a Daisy seal a meal, a Reynolds portable sealer, and old school vacuum hand pump, pin and one way rubber valves for the Pump and Seal. If your not using mason jars and just vacuum bags, your giving your hard fought thc to the bag. Since your using a bag and hard container, your good to go.

Here's a tip, when your at the end of a aluminum foil roll, save the cardboard roll from the aluminum foil, these cardboard rolls are crushproof and can wick away moisture, simply put an appropriate sized bud in the roll, put the roll or rolls in the vacuum bag, then vacuum seal it, the roll won't crush, the wicking away any moisture is just a bonus. Try that with a paper towel roll, you'll end up with a bud that's smooshed once it's vacuum sealed
