Anyone??

Hi - What will happen if i trim some of the leaves off my plants to get some lights into better areas???? Will i kill them???

no, but you'll stunt the growth slightly.

they wont die. it shocks the plant slightly but in the end this can actually benefit the plant by doing what your wanting to do. getting light to place more useful to the plant.

fan leaves serve big purposes (a) they store nutrients (b) provide most of the photosynthesis. You can achieve your goal without stressing the injuring the plant by lightly tieing down with string the leaves that are obstructing new growth
