The 4th and 5th picture look pretty done. Without using a microscope I would judge buy the hairs receding back into the bud and turning a different color than white. If you have a microscope or loupe use that. Hope this helps, but I would say if your that quick to pull the trigger and chop I would start with 4th or 5th picture plant. I would say the others have at least 2-4 weeks left. Best bet is to get a microscope and check the trichs. good luck

id say not yet by lookin with the plane eye, do what xsavier said with the loupe or w/e type of microscopic device u use and see what the trichs are lookin like... around 25% should be amber (depending on your personal preference)

PLEASE have some patience. Do you not realize that your yield will DRAMATICALLY increase in the last few weeks as your buds plump themselves up?

Those girls are way to gorgeous to chop early. Don't do it, ok?

And what stage are the trichomes in? Mostly clear, mostly cloudy, some amber???

Just to add, I've allowed many strains to go a week or two over the recommended flowering times because they were not finished. Let em go longer.

I was just thinking that until I read your post but darn the wait lol...... :weed:

I would love to start with pic 4/5, its the kush! the problem is i dont have a microscope for 3 weeks so im going to harvest acording to time and looks(naked eye). i hear if 80% of hairs have changed colours it ok to pull? im letting the grapefruite and reagular 4/5 flower a while longer as advised.

i dont want to let it go too far into growing and ruin thc. will most of the leaves fall off by the end of grow? my regular has lost all fan leaves and looks ready, but the buds are still getting fatter...

Everyone has really good points. Noone here told you anything that was incorrect. As a grower you will run across different situations that will force you to harvest at different times, things might break, or you dont have all the proper tools/equipment you need to finish the job 100%. I myself have harvested at different stages just to see the differnce. If I was to harvest on "naked eye" I would say 80% hairs receed and turn color, yes some type of microscope is best thought. I have also tried what everyone says about stages of trichs and personally it really depends on you and the strain. I have had strains that are better when they are 80% cloudy, 15% amber and 5% clear. Yet another strain is best when its 5% clear 45% amber and 50% cloudy, so as far as trichs go this is the best way to judge finish but also remember to grow a few of the same plant and/or harvest some buds at different times. The only thing I say you can mess with and is 100% true is that your buds will put on the most weight in the last two weeks of flower. Good luck and take your time remember you've put time, money, sweat and blood into this and want the best.
