Are the clip fans efficient?

Hello,

I have been looking at clip fans inside people's tents, and I am curious if they are effective.

They seem small, between 6-8", thus, I am uncertain if I should buy them.

If I should buy them, then how many should I buy for a 4'X8' tent?

I use 2 in my 3x3 and my 4x4. They move plenty of air in my opinion. If I had a 4x8, I would probably run 3. At least 2 though for sure.
