Just wanted to post a quick note in the interest of hopefully saving someone the time, money, and aggravation I have gone through.

DO NOT PURCHASE A MINI-SPLIT AIR CONDITIONER FROM AURA SYSTEMS, LLC.

I purchased a unit in July of 2013, the unit never worked and still is not working, and the company is doing nothing to rectify the issue with me. This has now cost me tens of thousands in opportunity cost as well as put me way behind schedule on my project and kept medicine out of the hands of patients who need it. Fuck these guys.

really ? I take your word yours does not work . the aura is widely sold in hydro stores they sell hundreds of them never rem seeing any come back. some people don't know how to install it or don't put a vacuum pump onto the unit to get the air and moisture out of the system that will murder any unit shortens life. to months of use . I use a cheap klimare unit. cold is cold. I could give a fuck less. the brand name. if I were you I would call the aura direct . or take the unit back to the store you bought or if its on a credit card stop payment on it .

33000 BTU quick connect unit. Installed by a licensed tech. I don't waste my time contributing to forums much anymore these days because of disrespectful twerps like the dill hole above. I was on OverGrow with this handle for almost 10 years. My occupation and garden take up too much time to maintain an Internet persona but I felt the need to say something bout these piece of shit units. Take it or leave it. You don't believe me go ahead and buy one yourself. I'd be more suspicious if someone with a single post was talking up a product haha

Probably never released the charge .. lol

Good one guy. First issue was with the refrigerant lines. Then the head unit was no good once we had it hooked up. Fan was off balance and knocking around inside the unit. Then I was sent another broken USED head unit as a replacement. Finally demanded my money back and they sent me another new head unit. Another installation appointment later and I'm getting an error code that signifies the motherboard is no good. Just can't win with this piece of shit. All I was trying to do was try and prevent someone from wasting 6+ months on a project like I have.

Well this "dill hole" was a mentor on overgrow under this name.

That said, bash away but if you had included your description of the problem in the OP we could have taken you seriously.

I have an aura systems mini split, thing works great, but shincos fans blow harder. Pick one they have both worked fine for me without a pro install, just a "youtube" course and some harbor frieght tools :) GL

Aura mini splits are a low grade Chinese pos marketed for growing to low info buyers at
twice the price of similar quality Chinese units. I use a Mitsubishi my self it has run continuously for
years

I got an Aura System and it works decent. A window AC will save you a lot of money though. They are a cheaper made in China brand but do work. A lot of grow equipment is made in China and works great. Even your supposed American assembled equipment, chances are the parts are made in China or countries not too far off. You don't need a pro to install them. I installed mine by just reading the instructions. You can get R410A recharge kits DIY much cheaper than hiring a pro. It's not rocket science just labor. I would of got a Mitsubishi but got kind of a special deal on my Aura System. It's been running for a while and has not had any problems yet. The levers that make the fins sway are really cheap though. I broke mine on accident easily. The unit still performs well though. Sounds like some shitty luck. It can happen with anything. I've bought so much electronic shit over the years even name brand that had problems and I had to return. Not just grow equipment but home appliances. Our entire earth just has low quality control standards. Companies are in it for the money nothing else.

if you mean" senville aura" it is imho a very good min isplit for the cost..our house is heated/cooled by them

mistsubishi is top of the line..

but so much has to do with the person doing the refrigerant
