Auto Strains more Ideal for outdoor or indoor?

are Auto Strains more Ideal for outdoor or indoor?...the reason im asking im looking for a short cycle plant for outdoors and would the auto flowering would be better than just a reg strain that dosent take long?

I have had great success with Cream caramel auto, spyder, PE auto, and I have some beastly Spyders and a WW auto outside right now that i started inside. The more light the better. When they were vegging i put them outside during the day bcuz temps have been in high 70s and low 80s and inside under cfls at night.

northern lights autos are great outside. tough plants.

So what's the diff between auto and a reg plant that a short 8 week cycle ?
