Autoflower light ratio

Hello,
The thing is about Nirvana Short-Rider. it vegetated at 18:6, when it was about 11 inches tall switched to 12:12 for flowering, now the buds are pretty small, pistils are mostly white and the trichromes are clear transparent. So today I read that for autoflower strains you can leave 18:6 all the way from seed to harvest for bigger yield. So is it too late to switch back to 18:6? I mean is there a risk it will go hermaphrodite?

Some autos you can even keep for 20/4, I've even had them at 24/0 before.

But... You're fine to switch to 18/6. Autos are resilient against light stress.

Read first next time but autoflowers flower automatically. Hence the name and the key selling point for many. Germinate them and run them anywhere from 18/6 to 20/4. Or even 24 if your electric bill can handle it. Personally I think even plants deserve a break but then that's me. I get rewarded by them come harvest.
