but by the sounds of it you will definitely need to cool the room if you are trying to run 150watts hps in 18 square feet

i dont think blowing the hot air around will do you any good,,, if anything try to have an intake and an exhaust in this 3x2x3 room,,, for circulation

well it says the CRI is 21.

thats all it said, 16,000 lumens and the CRI: 21
CRI = Color Rendering Index. It's basically a measure of how accurately the light reproduces an objects color. It doesn't mean a whole lot for growing outside of photographing your grow. I believe CRI=100 means the light remains faithful to an objects natural color while lower numbers mean the color will be skewed.

What you're probably looking for is the color temperature in degrees Kelvin. A typical HPS bulb is in the 2100K range which is good for flowering and less good for vegging.

HPS under $50? Lowes has a 70 watt HPS for $30. It's in the light section where all of the exterior lights are.

There's also a guy on ebay selling 400 watt hps or metal halides (refurbished) for $60 + $25 shipping. For the $$$ is the best choice.

i know but i cant use it due to the size of area my grow ops in, and besides in only growing small amounts at a time (1-3 small plants)
and plus heat problems is another reason.

it would be awfully hard for something to actually catch on fire from the heat.. paper doesnt even catch fire untill 451 degrees F... its more of an expression of burning the hell outta your plant

Thanks for the info <3

So do you think 150m3 per hour intake fan and a cool tube will handle it , and if so what distance from tops should i put it ? Cous my box is 105 cm tall :/
What should i go for 250w hps or 400w in my space .
Atm only with fan working the temp is 19C and RH is 50%
Its a basement so i think the temp will stay constant trough the summer.
My space is 60cm deep 105cm high and 90cm wide.
Atm i'm waiting for my seedling to pop , have 6 seeds of Hashberry wich acording to mandala is very heat resistant plant it's also most of it indica so i thing i can keep it low at high.
