Before my first brownie batch I have a few important questions!

I've spent the last several hours reading all kinds of brownie recipes.
This will be my first time to cook with cannabis, and seeing as I go all the way or none, it will be a rather expensive batch, therefore I'd like to not royally f*ck it up.:eyesmoke:

First- canna-oil or butter? does it REALLY matter? butter burns easier than oil, oil has a higher fat %, seems to take less time and possibly be easier. What's your opinion, why or why not?

Second- After making successful key ingredient, is there any danger of cooking the THC out once the brownies are in the oven? Do you cook them at the instructed heat on the directions, or higher/lower?

Third- What's the general bud to butter or oil ratio? I want to make potent brownies that are going to give me an experience i won't soon forget, but not something thats going to make me sick or making me passout without any fun. I'll be using some dank bud, just nugs, not trim. (Still not sure the exact definition of trim)

All feedback is very appreciated, and i'll be sure to post my results!

From personal experience, I think you're way better off smoking it. I've never really had good luck with food/drinks made from weed and weed extracts, but I also have a decent tolerance.

i've always made butter with my goodies and they make my eyelids weigh a ton and put me to sleep. my last batch was a few ounces of some fine surgar leaves to 3lbs of butter. when the back starts hurting and i can't find a comfortable position 4 cookies will make me drool on my pillow.
