I would like some info on your method of preparing the san pedro cactus for recreational use..

Whatcha into? Teas? Crystals? I have no idea of your knowledge, so I'll assume none and begin rambling now :)

Myself, I haven't ventured into the world of extractions, but I have made teas. My number one rule of thumb, if you have 'incense', never attempt to tea it. Just don't. It doesn't work. Even though I was warned, I didn't heed them. Save yourself the trouble. The powders are good for consuming as is (mixed with pudding etc. but so much material is hard on your guts) or capping (never done so myself, but that's a LOT of gelatin and cactus material for the gut to process) and extractions (the best use of powder imo).

Now, if you're dealing with fresh SP, teaing is a phenomenal way to extract all that magic into a concentrated goopy brew. One technique that blew my mind with 4 feet of SP was this: http://forums.mycotopia.net/holding-tank/45397-irishlions-cactus-tea-tek.html Obviously, there are many different ways to achieve the same end, but I found this one to be fantastic, though I did not bring the mixture to a hard boil, but a simmer throughout. However you choose to tea it, try to keep heat to a minimum in terms of temperature and exposure length. Mescalito no likey. Also check out ANC's tea tutorial and extraction, not sure where it is though.

Once your tea has been reduced to your desired amount, you can slam as is, or continue to extract from from the brew. I have no experience there, so I'll let our fellow brethren educate you there :D

Besides my friends right here beside me? :p
Wherever I go that has a garden center or see one from the road, I must pull over and scower the premesis.. but never have I found any that way sadly :( My four babies which I rooted, then harvested, and now pupped and growing bigger and stronger were shipped to me from florida. Same with powder I've tried, from Florida. And I've never found a canadian sup on the interweb that was 1) in stock or 2) was comfortable using. What ticks me off is all the US suppliers will not ship them across the boarder. They're not illegal here nor there. Yet some US independant vendors ie. yabE are more than willing. idk. They're just ornamental plants :D

I wonder why Canadians don't grow lophophora, as they are legal.

Its a wonder there is no market in Canada for peyote or mescaline!!

My friend CANN ..
Might we procure SP locally ?

:)

There's lots of SP around my parts, stranger.

Lots of little cacti patches full of them...

They are just not very mature, you would want to buy a few and grow them out for a few years then take some cuttings..
