Best Type of Jar for Curing

Hey all!
I have just started curing my first grow and I'm using a shatterproof airtight (the kind that has the lever and the rubber seal to lock) container. Would this suffice?

Speaking of curing. How many times is the appropriate amount of times I should open the container? I've been doing it quite often maybe every 3 hours or so.

The hay/grass/green smell is SLLLOOOWWWLLLYYY disappearing, but since I'm very new to all this, what would be the correct time to remove the buds and lay them out again before returning them back to the jar?

BTW, this method is courtesy of "Grow Great Marijuana" by Logan Edwards....he does not specify countable dates.

yes that will work. The amount of times to open the jar(s) per day would depend on how moist the bud still is. Every 12-24 hours should be enough if you have been curing for a bit as implied by your statement of the hay smell slowly disappearing. You should take em outta the jars and lay em out once a day for 30 minutes.
