Best way to hook everything up together

Pretty much have everything now to start setting up my 2x4x7 grow tent, lights, fans, etc. Now I'm sitting here looking at all this and wondering what would be the best way to tie all this together. What Im wondering is there a place on this site that might be able to explain, show how the fans are hooked up. Do I need to set them upon timers also. How many outlets will I need to start this baby up. Best way to hook up my air cooled light. Do you mount exhaust fans for light on inside or out or how does one begin to hook one up to the light. I think you get the picture. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to plant one seed untill I know this is set up theright way and running the way it should.

Generally it would be hooked up Filter>fan>hood>exhaust with ducting in between. Usually you want the filter, or intake if you don't have a filter, at the top of the tent to remove the hottest air from the tent (heat rises). Many people run their fan 24/7. I don't run mine 24/7 at the moment because the smell doesn't warrant it and I have an intake that's ~180CFM going all the time. It also helps me save on electricity. Once they start to smell I will be running my exhaust fan all the time (still going Filter>fan>hood>exhaust).
My fan is mounted on the inside of my tent to the roof. You will need flexible ducting and adjustable metal collars (any hardware store will have them for like $1.39 a piece) to connect the fan to the light/filter. I keep my ballasts on the outside of my tent because they produce heat and the less inside the better.
Hope that helps.

IMO....I've found pushing the air through the light creates a little higher temps....things work better when you suck the air through the light.
Good luck.

To each their own. I do fan first so it doesn't have to deal with the temps from 1200w going through it.
