I grow trees ffs there huge I have a foot of stem at base bare can I bury them deeper with soil ?
wana hold water better they drink somuch more topsoil will help them but can I bury the stem up ? Will it root like cuttings will

Yes you can bury the stalk it may pop roots if it stays moist but either way won’t hurt anything. What else you can do is pull it out cut the root ball in half and re-plant with more soil if you want it to grow longer
