big problem... maybe??

ok my biggest best lookin plant may have a huge problem... I was tossin the soil today cuz I gotta water tomorrow... and I noticed a bout an inch under the top of the soil on one side of the stem there was algae wrapped around it... about a block an inch or 2 thick wrapped around one side of the stem rite undr the top of the soil... and there were sum plant roots were rite near the top of the soil where the algae stared.... I ripped out as much as I could without rippin roots... I pulled a chunk out and it was light green..... what does all this mean and whut should I do about this???

Add a bit of building sand around the top of your plant pull the soil back and put in building sand it will find it harder to get a hold.make sure its the building sand with peagravel in the stuff used for concreating go down to the trouble area and add peagravel this should work.......good luck

if it damages the stem do what i did when i got damage round the bottom of the stem just dab a tiny bit of rooting hormone on it

it's an irritant and might kill the algie worked for me the stem is now satrong and bthe plant is growing nicely

hahaha damn I can't find peagravel or rooting hormone.... I pulled the whole block of it out and I couldn't really feel it anymore in there... should I still water today evn tho there still may be a lil bit of algae left???

if the medium is damp just leave it for a day or two and then give it water for a day or two
