Blue Cheese, Auto New York City and Auto White Widow

Just recently bought seeds from sea of seeds. I bought 5 feminized big buddha blue cheese seeds, and got the autos for free, along with a bunch of other freebies, I just chose these 3 for now. I plan on vegging the blue cheese for probably about a month, going to top her for 4 colas. Anyone know a yield enhancing method for autos? I doubt topping an auto would be a good idea.

Lights - 12 27w 5700k CFLs for vegging
12 23w 2700k CFLS for flowering

Might add more if they stretch... :(. Anyway.... I hope this grow goes well, i'd hate for my payed for seeds to go to waste.

Only the little baby white widow is showing right now, they just got planted last night.

Does anyone know what strain SQ might be? That's what one of the freebies is labeled and i just can't seem to figure it out.

Updates won't be this often i just wanted to get 1 in of them actually up and growing. I love grow journals to look back on them :).

Hi - just finished growing a couple of auto's. tried some LST/topping with them. Big failure.

Would not do anything to them at all. Just get as much light on them as possible until they are ready.

Will do, thanks for the advice :D.

Lookin nice! I'm definitely following this grow, I started around the same time as you. Do the black trash bags affect your temps any?

Best wishes on your grow!

Never really thought of that, it actually does seem like the bags get hot.

I did the exact same thing on my last grow, I used black trash bags to keep any water/soil off the carpet in my closet. When I switched to white trash bags instead I noticed a slight decrease in temps. But of course it was my first grow and I didn't have the greatest design, especially when it came to ventilation..

My current/second grow I decided to use a custom grow box from a left over wardrobe box I had.

Another quick update (Also gonna change the bag) -

When i took the plants out to change the bags, i noticed that the New york city girl had started flowering :). Truly was a autoflower. The lights are 18/6

Edit: The White Widow also started flowering :D.

I'm not really liking how the plants look, they kinda look sad... The white widow has some yellowing going on.

The first 2 pictures are the Blue Cheese, Third picture is the New york city, and the last picture is White Widow.

Here's the blue cheese, mostly concerned about this little girl because i want her to be the best she can be. She smells fantastic, more smelly then the plants already flowering. But the leaves just look a little discolored. I tucked the leaves under the 2 other tops so that all 4 are above and exposed to the light.

Is using flowering nutes on a vegetating plant bad? I'm pretty sure the discoloration on the blue cheese is because it's hungry, but i don't have any vegging nutes. I'm a cheap ass grower, always have been... Haven't bought anything for my plants in a long time. Anyway, would flowering nutes work on the blue cheese?

The NPK ratio of the flowering nutes i use is 1-2-1.
