boom shakalaka!! female, bitches

So I never saw this one coming. Checked on my plants today BC they've been stressed and noticed there was something other than just the stipules at the nodes of my oldest plant. They're still on 16/8 and are still getting grow formulas.



Either that plants a female or I'm taking crazy pills. I also have 2 other plants that are sexing; on one incant tell if its the "staminate primordia" or whatever they call the male preflower, but I'm gonna watch it and hopefully pistils shoot out.

One thing I'm worried about, is that my plants are really stressed right now. I would fucking cry if they hermied up on me, do you think stress this early on in flower could do that? Or if I get the stress under control before they develop further will I be alright?

So yeah, I just spent a little more time checking them out and I have multiple confirmed females. In fact, only two (well, 3, just started my og kush) out of eleven of my plants were feminized seeds from a seed bank, which means out of my 8 bag seed every one of them is a female, except for one that I'm not really sure about. I'm just not that familiar with what the male preflower looks like, so I'll give it time.

I guess just the switch from blue to red spectrum was enough to throw them into flower mode, even tho I'm still at 16 hours. I guess I'm gonna go ahead and put the flip on them today, maybe get my veg closet going again and pull out my og kush and two clones I'm trying to root.

Even this one little tiny fucker that's like 8 inches tall is budding. Its a plant I was gonna throw out but my girlfriend talked me into keeping. Really tight node spacing, and I never topped it so maybe I can get one huge bud out of it. Once my plants get adjusted to the hps I plan on cranking that ballast up for a few days at a time, see if these babies can handle that ballast when its cranked up to turbo charged (1100 watts).

Here's the little fucker I was talking about. He was in my "experiments" and after they ended he was just really neglected and didn't get much light or water. Plus I kept him in a super small container for a long time and he didn't grow at all, or at least very slowly for weeks and weeks, provably like 3 or 4 BC he's like 6-7 weeks old. His age is probably the main reason he's budding this small
And if you zoom really close on this one, you can see the hairs towards the top


My buddy that gave me the seeds swore up and down that he could guarantee that his seeds were female just by the way certain ones looked. I've heard one other person say that on here, and if this one other plant grows pistils, then I might actually start believing him BC I'll have 8/8 females from bag seed.
