Hello RIUers and welcome to my little breeding project. I've always been fascinated by the autos, but after doing a bunch of breeding projects with regular photoperiod strains I took a hiatus and didn't get to mess around with them until now. Constructed mtself a small cab, lighting and ventilation hooked up...will be adding a scrubber as time goes. Smell isn't an issue but its always better to be safe than sorry my fellow cultivators!
Cabinet Info:
Wood frame/construction
3.5'H x 2.5'W x 2.5'L
160 cfm 6" inline fan vented with rigid ducting for support (while rigid the elbows are adjustable so I can angle the fan as needed/move out of the way as needed)
Electrical outlet wired directly into cabinet so as to minimize the need to run them externally (Best decision in this design, saves space and extra stealthy and organized)
Lined with mylar
Lighting:
1 x 150w Floralux HPS
4 x 23w CFLs (Considering an upgrade to 4 or 8 LEDs for heat reduction and more light output)
Media:
Top soil
Peat moss
Coco coir
As this was started with snow falling...no stores are stocked with stuff for gardening just yet, but the mix is light and there's added worm castings, bat guano, and seabird guano, all stuff I've had lying around.
Strains:
2 x Chronic Ryder (1 is still trying to survive so could be 3)
2 x Diesel Ryder (1 is still trying to survive so could be 3)
1 x Delicious Seeds NL x Blueberry Auto
Goal this run:
Reverse sex of 1 CR, and use it to self pollinate, and cross with the diesel and nl x bb.
The second run will have dinafem cheese auto to be pollinated with the reversed CR pollen as well.
Reversing is to be done using homemade colloidal silver solution, and the ultimate final goal of this is to produce higher yielding variants of the Diesel Ryder, NL x BB, and Cheese. Along with a few stray extra crosses in the mix to try to get a few different types of autos as well.
Pictures will be following in the coming hours!
