cal mag just for the micro nutes

so i use ocean forest soil and the ff trio minus the grow big, no solubles, and while growing statori (light eater) i developed what looked like a molybdenum deficiancy, which led me to check into the micros and this nute was not there. i see cal-mag has what i'm looking for plus some other stuff that the ff stuff is missing but i don't appear to have any issues with calcium or magnesium, and i usually read about people using this stuff to compensate for issues with their water. so i have few questions. first, would it be ok for me to use cal-mag as a supplement with this nute program, and would this also help buffer the soil in any way? what does it do to the ph? everything i've read about it leads me to believe that i should be fine but i'm nervous about negative reactions like ph issues and burning.

anyone? i am referring to the botincare cal mag plus. it has the molybdenum i want plus cobalt which is also missing from my program, plus "beneficial vitamins, amino acids and botanical extracts" whatever that means. i am using tap water. the calmag has an npk of 2-0-0. i am worried about making an imbalance of the nutes that overlap like magnesium, boron, copper, iron, ect. anyone at all?

I use 5mls per gallon, but I don't use fox farm nor do I use soil with nutes in it. So I guess my input isn't worth too much.

I use RO water and use 5 ML of MAGiCAL per gallon, which is also a calcium/magnesium supplement, every water even if I am not feeding the plants anything. I actually use less than 5 ML per gallon when I feed, because some of the other nutrients I use have the micronutrients, so I just mix according to the feeding schedule. A calcium and magnesium supplement a must if you use RO or distilled water as pure water can actually leach nutrients from the soil. If you use tap water you may already have the necessary minerals already present, but since you are seeing a deficiency then I'm guessing your water is lacking those basic minerals. Mix it up at the standard strength and just PH your water. I find that my water drops to about a PH of 6 when I add MAGiCAL, so I have to up the PH back to 7, but it's not that much work.
