Calibrating your Ph meter

Hey guys i recently got this electronic ph tester on ebay. It was really cheap about 18.00. And i just wanted to make sure it was on point, anyone know a good way of doing this? Also in the manual it says use 6.86 buffer solution to calibrate my meter. Is using Ph 7.0 calibration solution the same thing? Any input on this matter would be great.

yeah just go off the 7 PH solution, close enough.
