can a plant grow on 8hr of light

i was wondering if a plant can still grow with 8-11 hours of light. if u were wondering why i want to give such a little amount of light to plants its becouse the house hold i am in i have to kind of grow all under cover. so let my know if it is worth my time or if i should just give plant to friend with more then enough room so the plant can thrive.

11 mabey. but it will go right into bloom. i wouldnt try. let it have a chance at life, give it to your friend.

good question.....
ur friends is probably safer if you gotta keep it on the downlow from parents, wife, gf, roommates, snitches,etc.

but i dont think u need as much light as people talk about, i think it might stay shorter. but id like to know the real answer too. lol.

not to be a bummer but if you are worried about the light now - what are you going to do when it starts stinking up the whole house?

you make a very good point about the smell..idk i guess i was going to try and work around that when i got to it. well i guess i will have to give the little guy to friend so it has a chance at a good life

one plant wont smell much. just try it yourself, its so much fun.

my experience does not agree, i had one plant that stunk up three floors of a house! now i have three that i can barely detect until i get up on them. it really is strain dependent and you don't want to find out the hard way you are growing some stinky skunky smelly stuff.

If you need to worry about others finding it all the time then DONT grow. This is the best advice i can give you, even if you really want to you shouldnt grow because more likely than not, youll be found out. Especially if you dont know what to expect in a grow. Wait till spring and grow in the woods.
