Can anyone explain this article?

It was a big fuss over here... Storm in a teacup.... Who gives a shit about the royals anyways... And not one of them is worth taking your life over...
You are intitled to your opinion and your right no one is worth taking your life for, but I give a shit about the royals not so much about the queen and prince Charles but the princes William and Harry are good caring people who have had a tough time with the media and don't deserve a pair of half wits taking the piss trying to find out private information about them.

If it had been any other family would anyone care? or for that matter would anyone actually know?

The bird that answered the phone could've just said fuck off and hung up...

Still doesn't explain anything...
How did the convo go??
pranker-"M'am, did you know the royal family is at your hospital?"
Nurse-"Oh my lord I can't go on!!!"??????

I don't get it...

Did they threaten her? Insult her? Make her believe it was her fault the royal family was there??

Honestly, the thought that the family was hospitalized was the only thing that made her kill herself?

I think that was probably a snapping point for her, but It said she killed herself 3 days AFTER the incident?...so I doubt she killed herself JUST BECAUSE of this prank. It also mentioned her suicide notes complained about her job a lot too

The part I don't understand is her motive. The hospital said early on that Jacintha and the nurse she transferred the call to were considered victims of a "cruel joke". Neither one of them were considered at fault and that disciplinary action was never considered. The hospital even offered support for the two nurses. No pressure from the hospital. She was offered counseling and support. Why did she do it? It makes no sense.

Heres the audio.... Fuckin retarded if you ask me...

This is what I'm asking...

Oh!! She was tricked into giving personal medical history of the royal family to the radio dj's??
Makes a bit more sense now...

What a fucktarded article. At least give us some background information on the events leading up, perhaps her encounters with co-workers before the incident. Nothing. She answered a prank call at work and then killed herself.....Some first 48 shit right here folks.

Like you stated previously, it may have simply been the proverbial straw on the camel's back. She was probably already at her breaking point and the prank just added fuel to the fire.

For what it's worth the radio show was canceled. The DJ's still work at the station according to accounts. The station should have realized before airing the show there would be consequences. Legal consequences. Why in the world didn't they see liability as a possible issue?

The DJs in question are from the "2Day" readio network which has about as much credibility as an english tabloid. They pander to our lowest common denominators like Jersey shore or honey boo boo

I'm sorry, but there is nothing that comes close to those two shows. We ARE the bottom of the barrel when it comes to shit programming. :p

Well yea the "bird" who answered the phone could have said fuck off, but what if it had of been the queen she would have seriously needed to top herself then. Rumor has it she had tried before to kill herself so this incident could have been the final straw however you say if it had been any other family no one would have cared and you are right they wouldn't of, but these are not just any family they are the royal family the family that makes us British the family people are interested in and are part of our heritage. If you are not British then maybe it's hard for you to understand how people feel, everyone is proud of their country iam, the people that run it are a bunch of assholes who have no idea about real life but my dad fought for this country and the royal family have seen us through some tough times, so all I'm saying is respect them and their privacy they are real people with real feelings too.

You never really know where someone is at in thier state of mental well-being. Influenced from past, present or even possible future situations can send ones rationality so far off kilter that an end is a must.

Sad place to dwell I am certain.
