Can I setup my carbon filter and fan on the floor?

Here is my recent grow room setup:

Dark Room DR150 II 60x60x80 tent.

Lumatek 1000w dimmable ballast.

Agrosun Red Sodium 1000w bulb.

Sun System Super Sun 2 HID 6" cooled reflector hood.

Can-Lite 6" 600cfm filter.

S&P TD-200 8" inline fan.

Is it possible to have my carbon filter and inline fan setup in a vertical position on the floor in the corner of the tent? It seems too heavy for me to comfortably hang in the tent. If I'm not worried about space on the floor is this ok? I figure if I have the passive intake open on the opposite side of the tent it would pull cool air across the plants on the tent floor. After the carbon filter/fan combo I will run duct up to the light to air cool and then out the top of the tent. Thanks for all advice guys.

Nope hang it up so it sucks out the hot smelly air, Try adding extra support if its a little heavy your tent should handle it!

My DR150 is missing one of the top support beams, well it's actually that they sent both male ends for the "E" top support beam so it won't connect, lol. Any ideas of another way to support it? I only have the two top cross beams instead of 3.

You will be perfectly fine putting the fan on top of the filter and placing it in a vertical position on the floor. Just make sure the filter has enough space around it for air flow. Put it on 24/7 and you will have no smell, that's what i do and it is working very well.
