i was just thinking a couple of hours ,, ill block light gettin to roots..

the pots are over waterd and the roots are wanting co2
they been wet for days

roots want oxygen not co2 stop overwatering and dont do what your tinking of doing

Yea you can. Just roll the pot till the plant is very loose. Pull it out and put about a half gallon of fresh soil in plastic bag, put the plant in and tie it closed to seal in some moisture.

Try putting a fan directly across the top of the pot to dry it out some.

so flip youthink itsa good idea he does this every time he overwaters? i would say let it dry and stop overwatering. i would not take the plant out the pot unless your transplanting

i dont over water,, i aint a dum cunt or a new grower,i water/feed when pots are dry,
ive got a salt build up and need to flush as my plants are starting to lock up and stop drinking as much.. so the soil has now been moist for a while cos plants uptake has slowed down..
i want the roots to get some oxygen (wich i did think was c02) and if i flush now it will mean more days of wet soil,
thats why i would like to dry the medium out a bit before i flush

i have good drainage on all pots but that dont help damp soil
that just drains exess water that the pot cant hold...
its the water the soil has held that i want to dry

and if roots have slowed the uptake then its guna take over a week to dry,,
and for the sake of the plants health it needs sortin soon

until my canna soil comes on thursday im just using un fertilized seedling/cutting soil with mixed perlite,,
its not ideal but all that was around when i moved up pot size

if you have good drainage there aint shit to trip on. let the soil dry out it self.

, im constantly smoking bowls ,,belive me. im that addicted to ganj it rules my life,,
i love the stuff but hate it at the same time

salt build up needs sortin tho and it could take another gud few days to dry

what are you feeding your plants and at what strenght?
