Can I trim during flowering?

Hey guys on my first grow and my bushy little plant looks to have 10 colas but some are getting the light blocked by fan leaves is it ok if I trim some of them and if so, do they need to be trimmed at the stem or can I just cut the tips off. I'm 5 days into flowering.

If they are large fan leaves I would just clip the part of them that is blocking light from getting to the buds but if its a smaller leaf then i'd just pick it off. Remember that the fan leaves provide the real energy for your plant so don't go overboard with it. Also, I personally put bamboo sticks sticking out of my medium and I gently tie the branch to it to give each cola breathing room and light.

No problem, also you wanna just tie them gently and make sure they aren't restricted. I tie plastic coated twist ties around them gently, making sure its not pressing up against any growth nodes.

towards the end i trim almost all the fan leaves, freeze, dry ice hash, then make some ejuice from it. great way to taste before actually harvesting. kinda like a little sample.
