Can you mix up ashes in your dirt without a negative affect like in "How High"?

I saw this movie called How High a long time ago. And they basically put a dead friends ashes in with his dirt that he grows weed with. Then when he smoked the weed he could see and talk to his friend - and his friend helps him get through college telling him answers to tests and shit.

Anyways, I have always just wondered - could you do this and have no negative effect on the plants? Always been curious and someone HAS to know the chemistry to it haha. I just don't know if like ashes are toxic and shit.

Any knowledge is appreciated.

I think human ashes still have a lot of nitrogen in them, like all ashes! 8-)

that is a funny movie by the way. When method man has some weed but no blunt, and redman has a blunt but no weed. They lock eyes in the parking lot and redman jumps in method mans car. haha, that shit was classic..

but do you think it would be too much nitrogen for the plant or anything like that?

i was wondering bout this also.,.,i wanted to put my grandmas ashes in my soil.,.,she always loved to watch my plants gro.,.,sumtimes she would smoke with me.,.,i miss her so.,.,

my grandama was i have her ahes i was planing on geting the ashes in the ink of my next tato0 but didnt think of this.,.,i will try it .,.,im transplanting my OG CLONE TOMARW.,.,AND I WILL THROW A COUPLE TEASPO0NS IN.,.,THE SOIL MIX

awesome man. stay in touch man. are you gonna have a grow journal for that OG clone?

you should label it as the "Ashes' OG" haha or "Gram's Medicine" paying homage to her. Idk.

But regardless, pleaaaaaaase let me know when you do it. I would like to see how the plant does and everything.

i have been farming for 10 years(big fields of legal crops not weed) and we always bury the dead animals in the compost that we use on the fields

well i dont know if i want to be putting anything dead in the soil i am going to be using to grow my plants, wouldnt the plants like obsorb that and wouldnt we smoke it?

No more than the animal shit most people grow plants in now.

I want to have a viking funeral then I want all my ashes grown in weed so my spirit lives on forever with the plant for which my life has found happiness in.

Ima mos def be some dank shit some day :) lol
