Canna Terra Vs Coco

Has there been any kind of conclusion as to which one seems to perform better?

they both seem to have the same feeding schedule just grown in a different medium...

If you want to do a chemical feeding cycle, go with the coco coir.

It holds more oxygen while wet
Buffers the ph
and although it still builds up salt, it won't do it as bad as the terra

But if you want to grow organic, the terra is soil mix (that actually has coco in it) so will sustain micro life far better than coco by itself

Isnt that what rhizotonic and cannazyme are used for? To sustain micro life in the coco or terra?

Also. If i flush a few times during the life of the plant will this solve the salt build up problem?

I was watching greenhouse seeds youtube channel and on one of their documented grow logs (klashnekova) they flushed at around week 3 and let the roots have no water and almost "dry out" the medium for about 5 days then they fed it and apparently the plant is really hungry and looking for nutes so it boosts growth?

Canna terra is for pre-charged soiless medium such as FF ocean forest or humbolt rain forest.

canna coco is coco medium specific.

canna substra is canna soiless medium non pre charged.

canna aqua is there full on hydro line ment for ebb&flow and dwc.

to say one is or could be better than the other falls on the
grower and how he/she knows how to use there medium.

now i have used all of them and if your looking for the one that
out proforms others I would say coco in general is on top!

flushing with coco isnt the best option to lessen salt build up,
using drip clean or allowing 10% runn off is key! If you do flush
i would say to use 1/4 nute strenght to stop any sort of micro def
from poping up.

cannazyme works like any other type of zyme.....
breaks down matter and old roots or dead roots to a substance
your micro life can eat! Then the micro life excretes the leftovers
in a form that your plants can eat up, its symbiotic relationship between
bactiria and plant.

and rhizo is like roots excel or rappid start not sure the make up but i do
know its like crack to roots.

cool this makes sense. so im goin to use the full canna coco line and follow their feeding chart. and ill add some H&G drip clean with every feeding at 0.4 per gal. u guys think i should be safe of any problems? anything i may be missing? cheers!

The canna coco line works good... a bit pricey but they can't be accused of selling something crap.

As hellraizer30 said, the key is to have no less than 10% run-off with each feed to keep it all flowing through

At 1ml per gal of drip clean you can drop the runoff % down
to just enough to see some come out the bucket! Much less
waste this way.

.4 ml per gal to stop buildup in lines
1ml per gal to stop salt build up.

key to coco is to get the roots to exsplode and to do this
feeding with very little water with get them blasting out the
smart pots.

I reckon if i use the canna coco line with smart pots and stick to their feeding schedule and have some good genetics too, i can't really go wrong! (touch wood)
