Addiction has come to the light of my life lately. But for me, Addiction and Cannabis, dont really fit into the same sentence or context. I have never really had any negative associations to Cannabis. When I think about Addiction, I think about drugs like, Alcohol, Crack, Coke, Meth, Heroin, Opiates, Benzos, almost any Pharmacutical, but not weed, ever. I have never seen or heard of anyone using Cannabis, doing the most unbelievable, irrational, uncomprehendable things that people do when they use any of those mentioned drugs. I just havent , and I cant even equate Cannabis to Addiction. Addiction in its sense and meaning , drive normal , responsible , rational human beings to do the most repulsive, dispicable, unimaginable actions and behaviours one can ever think of. There are no limits to what a TRUE ADDICT will do. All sense of responsibility just goes out the window. An Addict risks their life, family, husband, wife, children, house, car , job, just for that feeiling from there drug , that is just to much. I just cant now and maybe never will be able to associate Cannabis to Addiction. They just dont go together. I for one will never be able to trully understand Addiction . As long as I stay away from all those mentioned drugs, I will never have a problem , but if for some reason I should have to have any other those drugs in the future, GOD HELP ME!!!
