Can't Find Blue Satellite

I grew this strain back in the early 2000's and the only one I could now find was Blue Satellite #2.2 I looked it up and there was a page from Sensi Seeds that showed Blue Satellite 1 in google search results but the link gets redirected. I don't want a cross, the original would be awesome to grow again. Anyone in-the-know. It loves 1kw HID but will try under led.

Good luck. It’s likely gone and they had to recreate it. It’s been nearly 20 years a metric crap ton of strains have been lost (and found/bred) since then. You’ll be extremely lucky to find it. Best bet is look somewhere like strainly as I think they have an auction site or find another seed auction site and hope someone has a pack from nearly 20 years ago stashed up as that’s likely the only way you will find it unless you find someone with a cut they have had an kept going. Then you will have to worry about the seeds being viable still which if stored well they should be but who knows.

Might be easier an better to just find something else or try the cross out.

Edit: I do remember that strain tho.

What did you like about it? I have a pack of Blue Sattelite x Killer Queen - freebies from GLG - that have been sleeping in the fridge for a few years.

BS crossed to OGK was one of the most incredible I have ever run. I doubt you will ever see these seeds again. I bought the last packs listed on the internet along time ago and they got thrown away. They were probably way too old anyways but it was like 70 beans ;\

Like he said it was incredible and trich covered, always a bit darker than the other strains with a very blue hue. It tasted nice but main point was it was blast off. BTW Killer Queen another great strain.

I found a satellite leaning pheno in satellite Cindy from Oregon green seed. Produced beautiful long purple spears of loud fruity goodness. Amazing bag appeal as well, absolutely covered in frost. Definitely requires some hunting, every other plant was c99 dominant. Never took any good pics of it and I kick myself for not taking cuts. Here's a crappy shot about mid way through flower20190918_144423.jpg

Spice of life was the original breeder of blue satellite so their blue satellite 2.2 is probably the next best thing you'll be able to find. Should be similar anyway.

I’ve smoked what they called “blue satellite 2.0”. Probably the 2.2. It wasn’t even close to original blue satellite, but was still good and had the blue flavor thing going on. Of course I only tried one pheno of each

What was the original like? I eyed that one up for a couple years on hemp depot.

There was never a BS 1.0 from Spice of Life (that I can find) so you likely had a 2.0 or a 2.2 or perhaps something completely different from another breeder, however, seed finder has no such strain listed.

I’m afraid I might have the closest thing to Blue Sat you’re going to find. I took a BS 2.2 male and hit it to a 55 day DJS indica female (green pheno). i am currently in flower making F2’s of this. I call it Blue Satellite Redux. I did not make any F2’s of the BS 2.2, however I am enjoying my Redux more than the origional.

The origional 2.2 was a BS 2.0 (DJS Sativa male to Sweet tooth) x the purple male (2.2 is just an F2)

Here is one of the females I’m using for the F2, almost all pheno’s have been a true purple, purpling around 20 days of flip. So far I’ve only found one green pheno that represented the mom, I’m going to work the green line eventually (my origional goal) but for now the BS purple line in my focus, sweet, fruity with super strong structure. Most of the plants are shorter and finish around 9-10 weeks, however there are some thin leafed Sativa’s in my F1 line. I’m using 4 distinct purple pheno’s to bring this to F2, one being a thin leafed stretching sativa.

Edit: I forgot all about the Blueberry x Shiskaberry cross, that was BS 1
