I have done alot of reading on this site and i have to say i am VERY impressed by the knowledge and great support I have found here.. that has left me no choice but to get in on the action myself!
Im currently in the middle of my first closet grow, using the deep water culture, hydro design. I have read alot about CFL's, both good and bad. I decided to give it a shot since the availibility is far greater and far less heat is emitted.
I have to say CFL's have provided me with results that`have far exceeded my expectations.
I have a very "ghetto" setup at the moment.
Here it is:
I have a small, shallow, rubbermaid tub as the resivoir. (I found that the shallower the tub, the more oxygen the roots can utilize from the bubblers)
I also have 3 25 watt CFL's. (Veg color) which are hung from the ceiling of my closet.
I was just wondering if any1 has any ideas and or plans for a grow box that have worked well for them. Im sort of pressed for cash at the moment, so take it easy on me.
I know this is a broad topic, but if any1 has anything to add, please feel free.
