Is there anyway i could all the nutrients i would need without having to order online from a hydro store or travelling far to visit one. I live close to a rona and a homedepot but i was wondering if there was a way i could all naturally make my own nutrients just using foods and stuff. thanks.

No 'rona' in my neck of the woods, but check out a garden center geared to commercial landscapers/farmers for nutes.

One that carries, or can get, Jack's Classic for chem ferts or, blood meal, steamed bone meal, alfalfa meal, kelp, worm castings, etc for the organic side.

They are there, just look and do your research.

I will tell you how to make the best and cheapest fertilizer you can make and it is almost free.......Compost Tea.

Here is a simple Recipe......

Take a Gallon jug and add one cup of good dirt " yard dirt would be great if it is good soil and has not seen any chemical fertilzers or pesticides, if you stick a shovel in and have worms, it is good dirt and you can use it, " then put the cup of dirt in the jug and then add some dried leaves from the yard and some clover " about a handful of each " and then add a quarter cup of Molasses or sugar and a quarter slice of a potato. "

Put all of this together in the jug and add non chlorinated water and an air stone and let it sit for five to seven days.

Strain out and dillute once, so that one gallon, will become two gallons of dilluted compost tea and use it directly on roots when needed and spray the tea through a bottle hand sprayer on the leaves three or four times throughout the grow.

There is you some fertilizer my friend and your girl or girls will thrive!

Nature says; " I have your fertilzer outside, just add water, sugar and air and I will do the rest with my beneficial fungus and bacteria. "

Never have to buy all of this ole fertilizer Bloombastic 2000 stuff again my friend........plants will eat it up.

I'm not sure about dirt and leaves but you could just start a compost pile outside. Compost heats up to kill harmful bacteria which may be living in your plain old dirt. There's tons of resources online about how to start and maintain one. Once you get some good compost you can make a tea like the one The Natural described above.

You can also start a worm bin. I had one, they're fun and easy to maintain and are a great additive to tea for their beneficial bacteria.

Thanks for the kind intention Natural. Its nice to see people willing to help others. Still though i am wondering would this compost tea be sufficient to replace all nutrients fertilizers and soil or is it just for fertilizer. Is there a difference between fertilizer and soil? thanks. : D

Well, you grow them in the soil medium brother and then use your tea for fertilizer.

The tea will be more than enough to keep your Trees happy with everything they need.

You will be fine.
