150w, to 300w is a huge jump in ppfd my dude. That’s why your plants were stressed.
Lol, yeah. It would be. I was saying I raised the dimmer from 150 umol on the meter to 300 as they are in full veg. I was trying for a dli of 21 with 300 umol at 20 hrs..20210625_201118_HDR.jpg

Bk78 thx. Have you ever compared your PAR meters to a lux meter like Dr. Meter? I know its crap in comparison but curious how close I am measuring. My take has been if anything the lux meter measures under the true PAR but I have no real measure to compare.

30 ppfd is splitting hairs dude. Sounds like you may have other issues at hand
Yeah if I am within 50 ppfd I'd call it "check out button please". If I'm getting 400-700nm par plus or minus 50 ppfd I'd be thrilled for 149$ bucks on growers house. Typically the UV represented won't be a whole lot unless your overloading with too much and most people are only hitting them at peek for an hour or two a day the last three weeks of flower and true IR isn't really used like 800nm most use 730nm and call it IR but I use 730nm but mainly for putting plants to sleep early. Think I'm gonna grab one now.

If you have a decent light just bumping the dimmer with strong wind could fluctuate 30 either way but 150Watts to 300Watts is a huge jump. Even if you are jumping into flower you don't tip it 150Watts the next day so yeah I bet they stressed

He made a crying post 3 months ago saying he’s leaving because his language wasn’t welcome here. But he’s still here I see

Anyways. Enjoy the sensor man it’s a great tool to have.

Thanks man and thanks again for making the post. Got my medical license in and this tool will really help me dial some shit in.

I’ll have the data this weekend at some point. It’s very well built too
Hello BK78! Thanks for the great info I just ordered myself this PhotoBio PAR Quantum sensor from Indoor Farmer.. Sure sounds like a great little tool for a decent price! Is it still working good after a few months now? Also just wondering if you've ever had the chance yet to compare with the Apogee 500? Thanks again,

Still working great yeah

Ive compared my pulse pro with the apogee, so no need to do it with this as I’d have to “rent“ my friends to do so.
