Christmas Lights and 1 CFL?

I was wondering if I could grow with maybe 1-2 strips of christmas lights. It will also have one cfl (hopefully 2 later on) I will be growing using regular soil no dro or aero or anything. I have lined my grow box with the mylar side facing the lights (obviously). And I was wondering also if that should be reflective enough.

plz comment quick I dont want to waste my money,

Sorry, you would be wasting your money. Save it up until you can do at least a minimally correct grow.

Check out the ghetto grow section. Not sayin that your is ghetto, however , you can see the diffrent low wattage set ups there. Type in ghetto grow in the search options. Better be some bright ass christmas lights

from experienc christmas lights don't give out jack in terms of lumens. have a couple of hundred on our tree and it'll barely light up the room. just buy some more cfl's instead.

I don't know though... If you could find some LED x-mas lights within the right spectra of blue and red, and wrap up the inner trunk (as long as they don't give off heat) they might give off some SLIGHTLY beneficial inner lighting, but mainly look pretty cool.

yeah i had to give up on it it went two weeks with no results thanks for the help though everyone!
