clone question

i have a mate that has just decided to take a clone from his plant. the thing is that it has been budding for a couple of weeks now... my question about this is.... is it worth it? if so how will it grow? into another plant? or will it just carryon budding? it was taken from near the bottom of the plant so the bud n it is only the size of a finger nail

Ive taken clones just like your firend, super small, an in flower.
They will still clone, but it will take longer.
In about a month shell be ready to veg.

Ps tell him about reveging his plant after harvest if your short on seeds...
