Hey all.

My original plan was to supliment 200w of 3000k Z2 bin CXA3070 which I have recently built with 315w of CMH in a 4x4 tent. Turns out its quite a marathon to get what you want haha.

Skip to the next paragraph if you are not interested in CMH.....
but it turns out that they only make the new 315w CMH (phillips) in 4200k if I want to just screw it into a normal HID reflector (mogul). Apparetly this has the effect of increased leaf production but it does not translate into increased bud. To get 3100k spectrum I need an adapter. The 3100k only comes in a socket called pgz18. I have sourced an adapter so i can use this in a reflector, but it's $40 and located in china so it's not ideal. On top of all of this, advancedlighting.com has taken way too long in sending me an invoice that includes shipping to my locatation. It's been 11 days since I asked for the invoice, and that is on top of 2-3 weeks of backwards and forwards emails. Tom seems like a very smart and nice person, but he also seems like a very busy person. I just don't have time for this.

What are my alternatives? I was really digging the spectrum of the CMH as well as the long bulb life and reletivly cool running. What would you get in this situation?

I have been looking at induction. I wont be able to afford the 420par from inda gro. However, is there a reason people havent used a generic induction lamp? If you can get it in the right spectrum, I dont see why I wouldnt be a cheaper alternative to the inda gro's.....

Do not know enough about t5 but I have heard amazing things. But it is a fluro though......

And lastly good old HPS. Tried and tested altough I would like to stay away as there are options out there with better spectrums and my temps would be better if I went with something else.

Any thoughts or opinions on these options?

Why don't you just buy the sunlight supply lec 315w fixture then? Available everywhere...

Think its reasonably priced and its what you originally wanted
