so im getting a cor regulator and a 20lb tank from a buddy.....now i havent set up my fresh air or ehhaust and i do nt have a heat problem at all....now im wondering...i have read a few threads but it has not totally explained it to me....if im using the co2 is there a need for a fresh air intake....can i just use the co2 and an exhaust for smell???...i read not to exhaust when co2 goes on but this will be in replace of me getrting fresh air into the room right???...also what temps are suggested for use with co2???...i would really appreciate any help...thanks!!!

Your gonna have higher temps (Green House Effect) but you can go up to around 95F with the CO2 I vent at 100F
If your temps stay below 95F you should be looking pretty good, except for
some high humidity because of the higher temps, and reduced transpiration by the plant because of higher humidity. I'd watch your humidity.
If you can keep the CO2 levels where they need to be you'll only have to vent becasue of temperature or Humidity.

thank you very much that helps alot...how do you have yours set up....any techniques on where and how i distribute the co2 from the tank???.....tubing???

You could do it a couple of ways.
The CO2 is heavier than air. I've got mine above the plants
I'm thinking the CO2 washes down the plants and collects on the floor.
I've got a small grow area. My grow area sorta fills up with CO2
over time like filling a bath tub with water. I borrowed a CO2 monitor from a friend and watched how long it took for the grow area to get to 1500ppm
You can give your plants to much CO2 and kill them, but I think it's a high
ppm of CO2
If you have a fan to move the air around you could put the CO2 hose just about any where. Just remember the CO2 wants to fall to the floor, and if you have a room that you can walk into be careful. The shit will make you pass out in a few seconds, and when you pass out you fall to the floor where all the CO2 is, and you Die. I'm just saying if something messes up and your whole tank of co2 emptied into your room

no shit thanks...any suggestions on where to get a cheap co2 moniter or detector in the high ppms

everything I've seen is expensive.
you'll probaly be ok man. I'm just letting you know theres a danger there.
some people I know have a vent on a switch, they vent there room before they go into it. The bad thing about it is. You can't see it, You can't smell it, and I know It doesn't take very long for you to pass out when you breath a high PPM of CO2.
