When I open a bag of coco I'm scared malaria musquitos and scorpions will storm out and try to kill me.

Do they do something to the coco to make sure that doesn't happen?

No, I have found live snakes and snip dowel (the red ones) in many bags of coco

Ha.. way to make me feel real uncomfortable opening my bags of soil/coco now. My imagination is running wild now.

No, they won't storm out. Don't be silly. They will remain hidden until it is dark, and then find you in your sleep.
