I am currently using promix as a grow medium but I am thinking of trying coco. Right now I use new promix each time because every time I try and reuse it I have problems and growth seems to be slow. I have heard good things about coco such as the ease of keeping a stable ph and faster growth. The fact that it can be reused is attractive as well. Before I give this a go, I was wondering if anyone has any tips?? I am looking to use this somewhat similar to soil. I am hoping to water once every 3 to 4 days. Is this realistic? How often do you feed your plants with this medium? What nutrients do you use (I currently use Peters 20-20-20 and 10-30-20)?? Any information, insight, advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I have read the majority of the coco thread above and done some additional reading online. I am looking for someone who has used both promix and coco to weigh in! Thanks!
