Couple questions about bloom boosters

Do bloom boosters really make a difference in your yield/potency?

If the amount of THC a cannabis plant will yield has already been predetermined (meaning that no matter what you do, that plant will not produce more than it's capable of), then do these boosters just get you closer to that maximum amount, or does it make the plant produce more than it would have naturally?

THC content is not necessarily genetically predetermined. For instance, a plant suffering from stresses such as temperature can produce more trichomes as a survival mechanism. Though the mass of the buds will be affected negatively by the temperature stresses. Most bloom boosters are a heavy dose of phosphorus and potassium, witch is used heavily in the production of flowers and could potentially "boost your flowers bloom". I have also heard that the introduction of a lot of phosphorus and potassium will tell the plant that it is time to flower?? And can bring on flowers earlier?? I'm not sure of the science behind this statement.

I use Ginormous (Humboldt bloom booster) and have noticed an increase in bud mass. My trichomes seem to have the same density per cm squared. and i haven't noticed my girls flowering earlier ether.

genetics do have something to do with everything we do, but there are loop holes even in nature.

Anyone else want to give positive, neutral, or negative comments about their experiences with bloom boosters?
