Curing larger buds?

I'd like to cure my next crop as large single colas. Is this a bad idea?

Also where can I get glass jars large enough to cure 14-20 in long colas?

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

:peace:

Try the dollar store. Just realized, I'm going to have the same problem. I'm going to hang mine until the small branches snap, not bend. Then in brown paper bags. Then in jars. Small neighborhood stores that sells pickles, they throw the 1 gal glass containers away. That might help for the smaller buds.

I'm not certain about for curing, but remember reading of folks storing large parts in paint-type cans. They might make taller than one gallon size? Aren't they coated with something that won't allow sticking, like teflon?
Anyway, just a thought I recalled.

yeah i wouldn't cure in metal containers. metal is like a super sponge. even if it is coated i wouldn't trust it.

I ended up buying a few of these for curing larger Buds at the Dollar Store. 6" X 12" X 6 inches deep. It seals well, & I'm happy with them. The Buds inside is Afghan/Master Kush, picked with milky trichs. I'll separate the milky from the amber, for different Highs. I rolled a joint for a friend last night,... 2 hits & He was fried.

Good question. The smell is very faint, especially left open over night prior to using it. The smell of Bud on the other hand will scent my entire house.
