ok heres my question.

lets say you have a hydroponic system with 6 sites, and lets say you decided to make a cylinder around each of the 6 sites with mylar coated all along the cylinder. so lets say each of the cylinders are about 15 inches high and have a diameter of about 6-8 inches would it force the plants to grow in a way that will only bush out to the max space of each cylinder or would they just cram up and die? now im just saying to do this for vegging just to train it so you can have enough room to grow tons of plants?

Never done it, but i have seen a couple of cylinder grow chambers on utube.

It was about 5 ft tall with rock wool all around with a big mercury bulb in the middle. As it circled it would submerge the rock wool. It would veg like 600 seedlings in a 5x5 space

are you saying put a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut off over your plant? if so i think not much light would get to the bottom branches.but i know a guy that grows a plant in a modified white 55gallon plastic drum from start to finish ,so it can be done.
